Chibeze Ezekiel
The AfDB’s Country Focus Report (CFR) are policies that seek to accelerate African countries' economic growth and build resilience to shocks. They provide governments and potential investors with up-to-date, accurate data to inform policy and investment decisions. This paper raises some observations from the bank’s 2022 CFR for Ghana, which primarily focuses on climate resilience (agriculture), just energy transition and climate finance. Chibeze S. Ezekiel is an Environmentalist working primarily in the areas of Climate Change, Biological Diversity, Forestry and Renewable Energy. He is a certified Youth Master Trainer on Climate Change and also a National SDGs Champion. In Ghana he coordinates the Strategic Youth Network for Development (SYND), which is the convener for the Youth in Natural Resources and Environmental Governance (Youth-NREG) Platform.
